Questions?

  • Shower, shave, and exfoliate at least 24 hours before your appointment to give your pores time to close to avoid discoloration,

    streaks or an uneven tan.

  • Discontinue use of all Retinols + Acids 3 days prior to your tan + remember to exfoliate that neck!

  • Complete all other beauty services first, like nails, waxing (24/hrs before), facials, and massages

  • Since your tan will be done in your home, we suggest a loose cotton breathable PJ set to process in.

If you’re using a retinol, or any face or body products that have AHAs in them, like glycolic, lactic, and citric acids, avoid them for at least 3 days before your spray tan.

  • Steer CLEAR of ALL forms of moisture until your first rinse; for example no showers, no working out, no sweating, no cleaning, no make-up or lotions.
  • Do your first rinse 3-5 hours after your appointment. This is WITHOUT soap. Only use your hands. in circular motions to remove the bronzer, focusing your attention to your legs, behind your arms, etc.
  • After 24/hrs you will then take a full shower with spray tan safe body wash. Use light pressure + top not scrub your skin.  
  • Do not wash your hair until your body wash shower24/hrs after you’ve been sprayed. 
  • Avoid harsh scrubbing, hot water, and bar soap.
  • Pat yourself dry, don’t rub.

Yes, it will remove majority of the tan and/or lighten it. Seawater, chlorine, and hot tubs can accelerate the fading of the tan. I recommend wearing waterproof sunscreen to help repel the water.

You will want to tan 1-3 days before your event. For brides, I suggest tanning 2 days before the big day!

YES!!! You set the tone for your appointment and how dark you’d like to be!

Wait 24 hours for it to fully develop after rinsing. If it’s still not dark enough, you can use our tan extender to deepen the color.
